Home – Blue Heron Tide
Blue Heron Tide is designed to provide a variety of common areas for being together while ensuring that, if one party wants to read while another plays ping pong, you have enough privacy — and quiet — to do both simultaneously. Two bedrooms are on the entry floor, one with a double and another with a set of twins. The living room features wall-to-wall windows to maximize the view, and includes a game table and plenty of comfortable seating. The dining room generously seats eight and has ready access to the screened-in porch.
This is a 4-bedroom, 4-bath cottage directly on the ocean on Acadia’s Quiet Side, where you can enjoy all of the recreational opportunities that Acadia has to offer without having to sleep in the noise and bustle of it. The cottage is furnished with a nice mix of antiques and decorative touches unique to the area, while providing all of the comforts of home in a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, full living room with bonus game table, screened-in porch, and separate recreational room and additional reading nook in addition to the bedrooms and baths. Outdoor spaces feature an oceanside patio with gas grille and beautiful view out to the cove and Blue Hill Bay beyond. And, of course, you have direct access to your own private stretch of Maine shore.

On the second floor there are two additional bedrooms, the master, with a queen bed and separate sitting room, and a second queen bedroom adjacent to a reading nook. Each bedroom has its own private, full bath. The upstairs bedrooms enjoy the same spectacular view as the living and dining rooms. There is also a third level of living space on the ground floor, with a game room and comfortable seating area — perfect for separate recreation or quiet time. A ping pong table is also included, for entertainment on rainy days or a friendly tournament regardless of the weather.
In the recreation room on the ground floor there is also a game and wicker seating area. A ping pong table is also included, as are a washer and dryer.
